Due to friction against clothes it had become a little bit rough, but given its location I figured out I had little to lose if it left a scar. Now With FREE Healing Balm! (Misc.) I thought I would give this a try since most people said it worked for them. I removed about 6 moles, one of which was pretty large and the stuff really works. The large one took two applications and a skin tag that I tried it on took two applications, but the rest came off with one try. As everyone has said, if you do not sand the mole with the file they give long enough, so that when you put the product on that it stings, then you have not sanded enough and it will not work. The key is to have the product form a scab and it will not do that unless you sand enough to make the product sting when you put it on. I also learned to leave the bandaid (I used the small circle ones you can buy at the store) on for 3 days before taking it off. The mole would usually fall off in the shower the next day. It leaves a pink spot on your skin where it fell off, but it would leave a mark if it was removed by any other method anyway. One thing I've learned is that just scratching the surface of the mole before application won't work, you really need to take a lot of skin off the mole, if it doesn't bleed it wont work.Also forget about using the abrasive stick and toothpick they supply you with. The abrasive paper takes off too much surrounding skin, and a toothpick is a bit primitive, I thought surely they could have don't better than that. I'd recommend using a hypodermic needle to scratch the mole, but I didn't have one so I used a new blade for a carpet knife sterilized with IPA. Once you apply the product there is a very mild stinging sensation, then within a day a scab forms. About 3-4 days later the scab will fall off leaving a pretty big hole where the mole was, but within 2 weeks it fills up and looks normal again.
