After telling them of my cold sore affliction and explaining how I was tired of spending money on much more expensive treatments, they recommended this.Now, let me just say that my mother gets cold sore ALL the time. And in the winter time, I always break out with them. I recommend this to anyone I see because I'm so happy about its effectiveness. This product goes on nicely and gets absorbed by your lips really well... and does NOT leave a greasy residue. After trying this, I have NEVER had cold sores again. Let me just repeat: After I started to use this product, I have NEVER, ever had another cold sore. For me, it has been a godsend. No greasiness, no overly shiny lips, no smell -- just results. If you get cold sores, L-lysine will make the likelihood of getting an outbreak significantly lower. I use this chapstick every day and also take Quantum's L-lysine supplement, and I've found that these two are very effective together. Plus, the chapstick has a very nice consistency and looks sort of like a lip gloss. I've actually had people complement me on my "lip gloss" and ask me what brand it is because they like the way it looks. Great product, all around. |
