First of all, let me preface this by saying that I do LOVE this product. It made my skin almost instantly smoother, it's non-irritating, and you can't beat Amazon's pricing whatsoever. (I paid $70 for it at the mall; those kiosk people are relentless!) I also love that a tiny bit goes a long way. My first two applications came from simply using the residue left under the seal, so I imagine that this jar will last quite a long time. (That in itself allows me to feel somewhat better about having spent $70 on a facial peel.)The reason I give it 4 stars though, is because it what you see rolling up as you scrub? That's not dead skin. I know this because I have tested this product using a sample I was given - not my $70 jar - for 3 solid days in a row, on the same area of my inner wrist. All 3 days, the product did the same thing. It beaded and rolled up, giving the illusion that I was "rolling away" my dead skin. How much dead skin can possibly be on one's wrist? I also used a... I was accosted in Las Vegas at a Vivo Per Lei counter. The guy was really persistent, but I was determined not to buy a thing. That is until he used the Facial Peeling on my skin. I couldn't believe how much dead skin sloughed off with just a little gentle rubbing. Needless to say, I bought it. I used it on my face that night and my skin hasn't felt this smooth in years. When I got back home, I used it on my son and husband with the same amazing results. My husband, who had some tough black heads, no longer does. Taking the dead layer of skin off really opened his pores to remove them.
