The only problem, which took me a few months to locate, was that it bleaches your towels (and any cloth it comes in contact with). I think a good solution is to just use a white towel to dry your face with and to wash your hands with regular soap afterwards. But the product is great and keeps my face pretty much acne free. Overall, I'm a satisfied customer. Nothing I've tried, including super expensive sulfur masks or other fancy washes and gadgets have worked like this one. I still get a small pimple every once in a while but I haven't had a breakout ONCE since starting this cleanser months ago...which is pretty much amazing considering my history with bad skin. The wash does bleach some fabrics but, in my opinion, it is a small price to pay for clearer skin. I love that this cleanser delivers acne treatment in the form of a gentle exfoliator--a difficult combination to find!My skin is very sensitive and a bit oily so I only use the cleanser to wash my face at night only (over washing has been part of my problem, since it causes skin to dry out which actually causes an overproduction of oil leading to more breakouts). I have always been fortunate to have good skin. As an adult I've been experiencing breakouts from time to time due to hormones and lately a lot of stress. My usual routine has quit working and now am experiencing breakouts. I was so frustrated I decided to give this a try again and within two days my skin is much clearer than it has been in weeks! Definitely will use this for the times when I need my adult acne under control. |
