I have combination skin and hormonal acne. I have been using this product since Thanksgiving 2011 and I have had less breakouts and my skin tone and texture have improved dramatically. I am so glad I took a chance on this product after failing to find something that could handle my skin type. I highly recommend this to anyone who is getting sick and tired of paying tons of money for products that do not do what they advertise. I also use the foaming face wash with this(#1) and love it also. My face did get a little dry when I first started using them so I used the pore therapy every other day at night time. I have just ordered the moisturizer and cant wait to use it. First of all, I like the smell of Obagi Pore Therapy. Most salicylic acid-acne treatments smell unpleasant like yeast or sperm. This one smells good. I have a mild case of adult acne (which set in after stopping the pill) and I use this treatment at a max once before bed. It would dry out my skin too much if I would use it more often. There are some nights when I skip Obagi PT and it still works well for me. I already had less outbreaks after using Obagi for only one week. However, this is by no means the perfect product as it leaves a fine whitish film on your skin that makes your skin shine and you look like plastic. I never use Obagi PT in the morning because I do not want to "wear it" outside, but like I said, it works fine for me to use it only during the night. Another criticism: I hope the next Obagi PT bottle that I buy will not leak while transporting it in my cosmetic bag, but that might just be this individual bottle.Also, a 4 oz bottle lasts circa 6 months of... Contacted seller and they immediately sent out a new bottle with a pre paid return shipping envelope to ship back the damaged bottle. So A+ for this seller. Next, a friend of mine recommended this for my adult onset acne. Im 31 and for the last 2 years am breaking out like a teenager in puberty all along my jawline and neck! Hormones?? Ive been using this toner for a week now and it does burn quite a bit and makes my skin very dry and peel. I use it nightly after I wash my face. However, the peeling skin is revealing fresh new skin underneath. Also, my friend who used this says your skin gets worse before it gets better, as with most acne treatments.
