I hate using the whole line of proactive... it was very tough on my sensitive skin and did nothing to clear up my face BUUUUUUUUT a lady at Origins (now my sole provider of face care)secretly told me to ONLY use step 3 of proactive under my origins moisturizer to help fight and prevent acne and KNOCK ON WOOD my face has never looked BETTER! I have been doing this for about a year and a half now and I can count on one (maybe two) hands of how many pimples I have gotten since! I am religious about using step 3 proactive now! I've used this product for years even though with 30 years I am way out of my teens. As most people I still have blemishes here and there, especially around that monthly time every woman goes through.I've noticed that it works great when used for mild problems with blemishes. My skin also gets very irritated if I don't shower within an hour after sweating (which can be tough sometimes since my dance studio does not have showers and I teach intense dance cardio classes). The solution helps to balance this out. I put it on under the shower on face, cleavage and upper back. It definitely helps. I had a couple extremely strenuous episodes in my life which made me have stress-related acne of the worst type! The first time I was around 25 years and had to start taking isotrtinoin (accutane) for 1 year because my whole face was hurting just laying on a soft pillow or touching with a cotton pad!
