This is by far the best flat iron i have ever bought. It heats up instantly. I love how the new black titanium plate glides through the hair. It has been an uphill battle and I have tried every process(relaxer:(, japanese straightening,etc) and flat iron (CHI,T3,InStyler,Hot Tools,FHI). In the past I've had moderate success, but this flat iron is the greatest one I've ever used. The digital temp control makes it foolproof. The swivel cord is extra long. The iron is super lightweight, but the plates are large enough to let me get through my superthick, waist-length curls in half the time other irons take. The temp heats up within seconds and cools down almost as fast. They sent a heat resistant pouch/mat to protect your table surfaces (a great accesory for flat iron users).
